Membrane:
Do not adhere to the photos. When we put multiple photos together or use them between the next pages of the album, we can protect the photos from sticking, grinding and moisture.
Cold mounting:
Press the mounting film onto the photo through pressure. Usually, there is a layer of glue and a layer of protective film behind the cold mounting film. After removing the protective film, it can be adhered to the photo. In order to make it more firm, it is necessary to press it with film pressing equipment to make there is no air between the cold mounting film and the photo and increase the storage time. Cold mounting only mounts the image side of the photo.
The film is generally used for the inner pages of photo albums.
Cold mounting is generally used for enlarged photos, while plastic packaging is used for smaller photos such as cards.
If it is a photo printed by inkjet, it is better to mount it cold, because it does not touch high temperature. Plastic packaging must have temperature. Photos are easy to change color when exposed to high temperature. Cold mounting and plastic packaging are afraid of the sun and moisture.
